Wearing my baby

Today Patrick bought me a Moby sling wrap for wearing the baby, and after taking about a half hour to figure out how to tie the darn thing, I've been wearing a very sleepy baby with much success ever since.

Things I have done while wearing the baby:
  • Started this blog post
  • Facebook
  • Watched "Gilmore Girls"
  • Randomly strolled through the house, picking up trash and, hey! throwing it away
  • Ate the rest of the blueberry tart from last week
  • A little dance
This thing is cool. I think the kid has gone poop, though, and I'm not sure I can get him out alone - Patrick's out in the garage doing something loud.

I'm a goofball, which is clearly evident in the photo below.

Check it out for yourself at http://www.mobywrap.com/.

  1. When my oldest was a baby, I used to wear him in a sling (I used the Maya Wrap, and I still have mine, I can't give it up, too many happy memories!), and I remember one day Greg came home and I was all, "HONEY! I went PEE and I didn't even have to PUT HIM DOWN! It was AMAZING! Slings are so awesome!"

Greg was just smiling at his exhausted wife, nodding, "That's GREAT babe, really, wow." It was hilarious.

  2. We were just discussing the option of using the bathroom while wearing him. Patrick recommended I try it, but I was not quite ready to go that far. Yet. Maybe tomorrow!
